What is No-Fix, No-Fee?

At West One Connect, we stand behind our computer repair services with our No-Fix, No-Fee guarantee. Simply put, if your computer is not fixable, you'll pay nothing at all (unless we've previously agreed differently).

This policy ensures that you only pay when we successfully fix your computer and restore it to working condition.

How It Works

  1. Diagnosis - We assess your computer and identify the problem
  2. Assessment - We determine if the issue is fixable
  3. Quotation - If fixable, we provide you with information on what needs to be done and a quotation
  4. Repair - If you agree, we proceed with the repair
  5. Payment - You only pay if the computer is successfully fixed

What Happens If Your Computer Is Not Fixable?

If we determine that your computer cannot be fixed:

  • You will not be charged for the repair attempt
  • Diagnostic fees or visit charges paid in advance will be refunded
  • We will explain why the computer cannot be fixed
  • We may discuss alternative options (such as data recovery or replacement recommendations)

Important Conditions and Exclusions

Workshop Repairs

Please bear in mind that some repairs cannot be completed at home and may have to be taken to our workshop to complete the fix. This would include:

  • Lengthy repairs like virus removals
  • Jobs that require special tools or parts
  • Hard drive replacements
  • Complex hardware repairs

When No-Fix, No-Fee Does Not Apply

Our No-Fix, No-Fee offer will not apply in the following situations:

  • If you decide not to proceed - If we provide a quotation and you decide not to go ahead with the repair, you'll be charged for time and work completed up to that point (typically our diagnostic fees or visit charges)
  • If you prevent us from fixing - If you prevent us from fixing your computer (for example due to missing passwords, CDs, or license codes), you'll be charged for work completed up to that point
  • If you cancel after agreeing - If you agree to proceed but later decide to cancel the repair, you'll be charged for work agreed and parts used up to that point
  • External equipment problems - Problems that involve external equipment such as printers, monitors, routers, or wireless equipment are not covered by this offer. Normal non-refundable diagnostic fees or visit charges will apply

Payment Terms

  • Diagnostic fees or visit charges are payable in advance
  • These fees will be refunded if the computer is not fixable (No-Fix, No-Fee applies)
  • If the computer is fixable and you proceed with the repair, these fees are included in the final cost

What Services Are Covered?

Most computer repairs will be available on a no-fix, no-fee basis. However, we reserve the right to consider the facts and inform you in advance if we cannot offer it in your case.

This policy applies to problems with your computer itself. External equipment and peripherals are not covered.
